Maile's Puppies at 16 Days Old!

2 weeks old today!

Maile and Indy's puppies are 2 weeks old today! Most of them are just starting to open their eyes. All of them weigh between 2 and 3 lbs. They are going to "come alive" during the next week. It is amazing how much they start to change during the second and third weeks. They start walking more and they will begin to play with each other. They are so very cute during this time of development!
Today they got their tiny nails trimmed. Next weekend I will probably try feeding them some soupy puppy food to see if they are ready for that. Usually they go crazy eating the food! Very messy at first, for sure, as they lie in the bowl and get food everywhere. They will get their first worming this week, too.
